As a Craftsworker – Carpenter Job in Mexico, you’ll play a key role in creating, repairing, and maintaining structures that ensure a safe, engaging, and visually appealing environment for guests, staff, and animals. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform skilled and semi-skilled carpentry and construction tasks across the park
  • Build, repair, and maintain structures such as fences, doors, windows, roofing, and exhibit elements
  • Construct custom projects without standard blueprints (e.g., themed structures, animal enclosures, event props)
  • Work with materials like wood, fiberglass, rebar, and concrete
  • Conduct inspections and carry out preventive maintenance
  • Collaborate with managers, team members, and internal clients to meet project requirements
  • Ensure all work meets safety standards, codes, and aesthetic expectations
  • Support special events and unique builds (e.g., exhibit features, themed installations)

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (trade school preferred)
  • Experience in carpentry, construction, or related field
  • Ability to interpret specifications and work without detailed plans when needed
  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and working in various weather conditions
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if required

Skills

  • Strong carpentry and construction knowledge
  • Problem-solving and creative thinking (“thinking outside the box”)
  • Attention to detail and craftsmanship quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
