- Journeyperson Welder certification
- Experience with flux core MIG welding in all positions
- Ability to read detailed prints and sketches
- Knowledge of welding structures and equipment to specifications
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment failures
- Experience operating equipment such as telehandlers and aerial work platforms (AWP) is an asset
- Underground mining experience is considered an asset
