Requirements
- Registered Apprentice Welder or interested in pursuing certification
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Team-oriented attitude and ability to follow direction
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and crouch for long periods
- Must pass drug/alcohol, audiometric, and fit-for-work testing
- Must be clean-shaven for respirator use
Key Skills
- Basic welding knowledge or interest in learning MIG and wire welding
- Ability to read or learn to interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Safe handling of welding tools and shop equipment
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE use
- Good communication and teamwork skills
