Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) on trailers
- Complete brake jobs and general trailer repairs
- Welding and fabrication work, including:
- Laying out, measuring, cutting, fitting, and welding metal components
- Creating or repairing parts to meet precise specifications
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs
- Use power tools, hand tools, and shop equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Requirements
- Ability to work 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday–Friday
- Availability for overtime with or without notice
- Knowledge of occupational safety hazards, procedures, and best practices
- Ability to meet physical demands of welding and fabrication work
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with trailer maintenance and repair
- Skilled in welding and metal fabrication techniques
- Strong understanding of power tools, hand tools, and shop equipment
- Ability to accurately measure, cut, and fit materials
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
