Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Roof Plumber in installation and construction
- Australian citizenship (required to meet security clearance requirements)
- Certificate IV in Roof Plumbing or equivalent qualification (highly preferred)
- Current White Card
- Valid High Risk Work (HRW) licence
- Elevating Work Platform (EWP) licence
- Current Driver’s Licence
- National Police Clearance
- Competency in Working at Heights
- First Aid certification (preferred)
- Strong understanding of roofing materials, construction standards, and maintenance practices
Key Skills
- Installation, maintenance, and repair of roofing and drainage systems
- Fabrication and shaping of metal roofing, flashings, and sheet materials
- Accurate interpretation of construction drawings and specifications
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong communication skills with the ability to supervise teams
- Experience mentoring apprentices and trades assistants
- Effective problem-solving and ability to escalate technical issues appropriately
- Strong focus on workplace safety and OHSE compliance
