Key Responsibilities
- Daily egg collection
- Accurate record keeping of poultry health and egg production
- Monitoring poultry shed environment (temperature, ventilation, general conditions)
- Ensuring bird welfare standards are maintained
- Cleaning and maintaining poultry sheds and farm equipment
- Observing and reporting on bird health and behaviour
- Following strict biosecurity and animal welfare protocols
- General farm duties as required
- Recording production and farm data
Requirements
- Previous agricultural or farm work experience strongly preferred
- Poultry experience preferred (training provided for candidates with relevant farming background)
- Comfortable working with livestock in a farm environment
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labour
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Willing to work at least one weekend per month
- Own transport essential due to rural location
