Requirements
- Must be based in Taranaki, New Zealand
- Previous New Zealand civil construction experience
- Full, valid driver’s licence
- Ability to travel and stay away from home when required
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to pass pre-employment health assessment, drug and alcohol testing, and Ministry of Justice (MoJ) check
- Must have full, permanent working rights in New Zealand (no visa sponsorship available)
Skills
- Manual labour skills including lifting, carrying, and shovelling
- Ability to operate small plant and machinery (when deemed competent)
- Experience assisting trades and spotting machinery operators
- Concrete placing experience
- Material handling and site housekeeping
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain high work standards
