This position is responsible for maintaining farm facilities and equipment, assisting with large animal handling, and ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment for animals, students, and staff. The role combines hands-on animal care with construction, maintenance, and equipment operation duties.

Key Responsibilities
Animal Care
- Provide daily feeding and watering of farm animals
- Clean and sanitize stalls, barns, and surrounding areas
- Assist with rotational grazing
- Monitor animal health and safety
- Transport animals to appropriate locations
Farm & Facility Maintenance
- Perform construction and maintenance of farm equipment and structures
- Maintain fences, barns, stalls, roads, ponds, and farm buildings
- Conduct lawn and field care
Equipment & Operations
- Operate tractors and specialized equipment to transport feed and waste
- Operate trucks and trailers for animal transportation
- Handle pesticides, herbicides, and hazardous chemicals safely
- Perform additional assigned duties as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in farm operations, animal care, or agricultural maintenance preferred
- Ability to operate tractors, trucks, and farm equipment
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver’s license (may be required)
