Key Responsibilities
- Install, operate, troubleshoot, and repair agricultural irrigation systems (sprinklers, drip lines, center pivots).
- Lay, connect, and maintain PVC, GI (galvanized iron), and HDPE pipelines for water transport across fields.
- Install and repair irrigation pumps, water storage tanks, and overhead tanks.
- Design, install, and service drainage systems and wastewater pipelines for farms, greenhouses, or processing facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of plumbing systems.
- Respond promptly to pipe bursts, irrigation failures, and water supply interruptions.
- Ensure compliance with local agricultural, environmental, and building regulations.
- Maintain records of repairs, materials used, and system performance.
- Use pressure gauges and other testing equipment to ensure system efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Agriculture Plumber (Required).
- Proven experience with irrigation systems and agricultural water management.
- Knowledge of PVC, GI, and HDPE pipe installation and repair.
- Ability to read technical drawings and irrigation layouts.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic understanding of safety standards and compliance regulations.
