This role is based at Clagett Farm in Upper Marlboro, Maryland, United States. The Farm Crew assists in organic vegetable production, harvesting crops, supporting farm operations, and working with volunteers to maintain a productive and environmentally responsible farm.

Requirements
- Assist with sowing seeds and caring for seedlings using organic farming methods.
- Maintain and manage vegetable crops in farm fields.
- Harvest crops following food safety regulations and farm standards.
- Wash, sort, and display produce for customer distribution.
- Help with CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) distribution and customer pick-ups.
- Guide seasonal workers, volunteers, and groups during farm activities.
- Operate tractors and farm equipment for planting, cultivating, and harvesting.
- Maintain records of farm activities, inputs, and harvest weights for organic certification.
- Support maintenance of the herb and flower garden.
- Keep work areas clean and tools organized.
- Assist with general farm operations and other assigned tasks.
Skills
- Knowledge or interest in organic vegetable farming.
- Ability to perform physical outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Teamwork and communication skills for working with volunteers and customers.
- Basic tractor or farm equipment operation skills (preferred).
- Organization and record-keeping ability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive farm tasks.
- Adaptability to fast-paced farm environments.
