Position Summary
As a Boilermaker – Fabricator, you will be an integral part of the workshop team, fabricating steel components to specification. Working under the supervision of workshop leaders, you will interpret technical drawings, select materials, set up fabrication operations, and use tools and machinery to produce high-quality finished parts within organisational standards.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (Boilermaker) or equivalent qualification.
- Proven experience working as a boilermaker/fabricator in a workshop environment.
- Solid background in MIG welding; experience with stainless steel is advantageous.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication instructions.
- Skilled in using fabrication tools (measuring tools, power and hand tools).
- Current and valid driver’s licence.
- Additional licences (e.g., Forklift, Dogman/DG, High-Risk Work) are encouraged but not essential.
