Job Overview
The Farm Worker will coordinate and supervise daily livestock and crop operations while ensuring farm safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. This role involves hands-on agricultural work, supervising farm laborers, handling machinery, supporting breeding programs, and assisting in seasonal operations such as maple tapping and product shipment preparation.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, assign, and supervise livestock workers and machinery operators
- Supervise breeding and livestock-related programs
- Monitor crop-growing operations, including grain production
- Tap trees in all weather conditions (maple operations)
- Move products during winter and prepare shipments
- Ensure cleanliness of farm facilities and proper maintenance of equipment
- Supervise infrastructure, machinery, and supply maintenance
- Enforce farm safety and animal welfare procedures
- Perform general farm duties as required
Requirements
- Punctual and dependable
- Strong attention to detail
- Valid driver’s licence (asset)
