Key Responsibilities
- Assist with livestock management, including sheep, deer, and cattle trial work
- Support intensive lambing operations, including fully recorded lambing events
- Work closely with science teams to implement and maintain research trials according to protocol
- Conduct general farm maintenance (weed spraying, pasture topping, fencing repairs)
- Maintain field resources to ensure trials meet design standards
- Uphold good farming practices and safe work procedures
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of previous farm experience
- Strong knowledge of animal health, stock handling, and recording systems
- Experience with TruTest (advantageous)
- Experience with fully recorded lambing beats or willingness to learn
- Current full driver’s licence
- Ability to work safely and follow workplace health and safety practices
