Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and/or arc welding on various metal components
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Fabricate, assemble, and repair metal structures and products
- Operate workshop tools and machinery safely
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work area
Requirements
- Previous experience as a welder or metal fabricator
- Ability to read and work from drawings and measurements
- Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety procedures
- Reliability and strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Eligibility to work in New Zealand
Preferred Skills
- Trade qualification (an advantage, but not essential)
- Experience with multiple welding methods
- Attention to detail and precision
