On Water Concepts, part of the On Water Group, is seeking an experienced and highly specialized Yacht Management & Technical Solutions Manager Job in Hong Kong to join our growing team in Hong Kong. This newly created role combines commercial vessel command, yacht management, and advanced multi-trade technical expertise.
The position is designed for a commercially endorsed seafarer who can lead complex yacht operations while delivering hands-on technical solutions to the highest international safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Commercially Endorsed Skipper for client vessels, ensuring full compliance with international and HKSAR Marine Department regulations
- Oversee vessel safety, operational readiness, and regulatory compliance (Class IV Vessel Code of Practice)
- Lead refit and upgrade projects, including budgeting, contractor selection, quality control, and timely project delivery
- Manage client relationships, contracts, and financial planning for yacht management and refit services
- Perform hands-on technical and fabrication work, including MIG/TIG welding, carpentry, mechanical repairs, and system upgrades
- Deliver specialized technical solutions, diagnostics, and repairs across plumbing, electrical, and engine systems
- Conduct rigging inspections, sail repairs, ropework, and safety audits
- Support technical sales and OEM product installations, including after-sales service and brokerage exposure
- Contribute to commercial development, assisting the team in securing and delivering On Water Concepts projects
Requirements
- Current Hong Kong residency with a valid visa allowing employment or sponsorship transfer (mandatory)
- EU residency or valid Schengen visa for international travel (mandatory)
- RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore – Commercially Endorsed (Sail)
- HK MARDEP Pleasure Vessel Operator Grade 1
- Minimum 3 years’ professional experience in the yachting or marine industry
- Recent skipper experience (last 2 years) operating in Hong Kong waters
- Proven experience managing major refit or marine engineering projects
- Strong background in multi-trade project leadership and financial oversight

- Advanced electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry skills (mandatory)
- Diesel engine diagnostics and maintenance (RYA Diesel Engine Maintenance qualified)
- Excellent project management and organizational skills
- Strong client communication and relationship-building ability
- Leadership skills with experience training and supervising crew
- Ability to work independently and perform under pressure
- Commercial awareness and technical sales support capability
