About the Role
Makati (Sports) Club, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our kitchen. You will help ensure that our members and guests receive exceptional dining experiences. This is a full-time position based in Makati City, Metro Manila.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting the chefs and cooks with food preparation tasks such as washing, chopping, and portioning ingredients.
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment by regularly cleaning and sanitising work surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
- Restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed.
- Ensuring the proper storage and rotation of food items to maintain freshness and quality.
- Helping with the plating and presentation of dishes.
- Following all food safety and hygiene protocols to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness.
- Providing support to the kitchen team as needed to ensure efficient and timely service.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
