About the Role

Housekeeping is not only about cleanliness. It also includes keeping work areas neat and orderly. You must keep halls and floors free from slip and trip hazards. You must remove waste materials, such as paper and cardboard, and other fire hazards from work areas.

The role also requires attention to important details. These include the layout of the whole workplace, aisle markings, storage facilities, and maintenance.

This job requires attention to detail, physical strength, and the stamina to work long shifts.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand the company’s policy on work shifts, guests’ possessions, and privacy issues.
• Provide basic housekeeping duties. These include restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging rooms after guests check out.
• Report and return any property found on the premises while providing service.
• Report cases of property damage in commercial spaces to the supervisor.
• Work with a team of housekeepers on each shift.
• Clean, disinfect, and store all equipment at the end of the shift.
• Maintain a positive relationship with employees and guests.
• Monitor and report the inventory of cleaning supplies.
• Respond to housekeeping problem calls, such as spills and broken glass.
• Collect and remove trash and debris.

About You

• College-level, vocational, or high school graduate.
• Previous experience in any housekeeping position.
• Has a knack for managing unforeseen circumstances.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks within given time frames.
• Good planning and decision-making abilities.
• Physical agility for performing difficult manual labor.
• Physically agile with the ability to remain active for long periods.
• Available to work on weekends and public holidays on the dayshift.
• Must be willing to work at Tytana Building, Binondo, Manila Tower.
