About the Job
As a Housekeeping Attendant, your main responsibility is to ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas. You will follow the guidance of Supervisors and the hotel’s policies and procedures.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Collect keys and daily assignments.
- Prepare the trolley and required equipment for efficient work and to prevent delays.
- Clean and maintain guest rooms.
- Replenish room supplies according to the hotel’s Standards of Performance.
- Clean and replenish bathrooms.
- Follow the Standards of Performance and safety standards.
- Arrange and tidy guest belongings while cleaning rooms and bathrooms.
- Inform Valet Service to collect guest clothes for laundry, dry cleaning, or pressing.
- Help ensure guest satisfaction.
- Clean guest corridors, service pantries, and service areas.
- Maintain a professional and organised appearance in these areas.
- Report maintenance-related issues to the Engineering Department.
- Support general upkeep and facility maintenance.
- Consider guest needs and requirements when working in public areas and guest rooms.
- Work with courtesy and focus on guest satisfaction.
- Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards according to organisational policies.
- Follow the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
