Job Description
Key Deliverables and Responsibilities
- Follow the correct grooming standards at all times.
- Exceed guest satisfaction by knowing guest preferences and updating profiles.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of the restaurant menu and daily specials.
- Know the beverage service, including the glasses used and appropriate garnishes.
- Follow the restaurant’s financial, LQA, and TrustYou targets each day.
- Anticipate and meet guest requirements at all times.
- Use opening and closing checklists for smooth venue operations.
- Keep service stations clear and restocked during service.
- Serve and clear food and beverage items in a professional and unobtrusive manner.
- Present menus in a proactive manner.
- Keep the manager on duty updated about guest feedback so they can update the Glitch Report.
- Maintain HACCP and FIFO standards as required by the regional governing body.
- Attend all required briefings and training sessions as instructed by the Manager.
- Identify potential problems and anticipate guest needs.
- Ask for assistance before a service breakdown occurs.
- Perform duties and special projects requested by management in your department or any other hotel department.
- Report all issues and negative guest feedback properly through the Glitch system.
- Follow the care program at all times.
- Report issues through the system to maintenance.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Experience using POS systems.
- Professional grooming and presentation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude with a strong commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Fluency in English.
- Additional languages are an advantage, including Russian, Arabic, and Turkish.
- Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
