Life Guard Job in Oman is a full-time, non-management position in Muscat, Oman. Main Responsibilities
- Use appropriate rescue techniques when swimmers need help.
- Monitor the swimming area for dangerous situations, unusual or unsafe activities, and swimmers who may have difficulty.
- Promote the rules and regulations of the recreational facilities.
- Identify situations where guests cannot safely take part in an activity and report them to a supervisor or manager.
- Assist injured guests until emergency medical services arrive.
- Promote a fun and comfortable environment for guests.
- Take, fold, and stack towels according to company procedures.
- Wash, scrub, and clean the area around the pool.
- Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager.
- Complete safety training and obtain the required certifications.

Physical Requirements

- Stand, sit, or walk for long periods or throughout the full work shift.
- Move at the speed required to respond to work situations, such as running, walking, or jogging.
- Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
- Grip, turn, and handle objects of different sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination.
- Reach above the head and below the knees, including bending, twisting at the waist, pulling, and leaning.
- Move across sloped, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairs.
- Go up and down ladders.
- Go up and down stairs and/or service ramps.
Guest Service Duties
- Welcome and recognize all guests according to company standards.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Answer telephone calls using proper etiquette.
